Every year, Northeastern hosts Asian American Heritage Month (AAHM) with the goals of building community, raising awareness for APIDA (Asian Pacific Islander Desi American) issues all while celebrating our history, culture, and impact in the United States. While Asian American Heritage Month is traditionally celebrated in May, we are celebrating in January to give our community an opportunity to fully participate in and enjoy the month of events.

This year, we aim to empower our community by highlighting the voices and identities that are interwoven with being Asian American in order to promote understanding and appreciation in the Asian American community. Join us in celebrating Asian American Heritage Month 2022 from January 23 – January 30, 2022!
